Why Grass Free Yards?

In Florida, grass lawns don’t really make sense. A pretty lawn requires a lot of water and fertilizers and often pesticides.  Xeriscaping with native plants saves water, chemicals, time, and money in the long term.  Groundcovers usually don’t need to be mowed.  They are great for kids and attracting wildlife such as butterflies.
